Bishanku Narayan Bishankhunarayan is a village and a historic place at the road from Patan to Godavari. There is a Vishnu temple called Bishankhu Narayan. Narayan is another name for Lord Vishnu. Near the temple there is a small cave too. According to popular belief, those who manage to squeeze through it will be absolved of past sins. There are four great Narayan Temples in the Kathmandu Valley: • The Temple of Shesh Narayan • The Temple of Changu Narayan • The Temple of Bishankhu Narayan • The Temple of Ichangu Narayan
