King Purna Shah (Reign: approx. 1627-1662 B.S. = 1570-1605 A.D.)
Purna Shah was crowned the King of Gorkha succeeding Drabya Shah. He had to engage himself with tough battles against Lamjung to retain the control over Liglig during his reign. He also carried on the task of expanding Gorkha territory. He extended his boundary up to Warpak from Ajirgadh. Besides these he also brought under his heed Salyan, khari, Maidi, Dhading in west and streched his boundary as far as Trishuli in the east.
