King Chhatra Shah (Reign: approx. 1666 B.S. = 1609 A.D.)
King Purna Shah was succeeded by Chhatra Shah but he didn’t survive long enough, so he could not contribute much to Gorkha. However, he did suppress the revolt in Simjung, a territory of Warpak. As an ambitious king he had dreamed and planned to attack Nepal valley bringing under his rule. He ordered to make big drums in 1616 B.S. which were supposed to be hanged on both sides of the marching elephant. But due to his untimely demise, his wish could not be fulfilled.
