The chronological last items of classic Nepalese postal stationery are three special editions (postcard, envelope and an aerogram) issued on the occasion of Nepal’s admission into the World Postal Union (UPU). The oval red stamp of the 6 Paisa envelope shows a white drawing of the “sirpech” (Crown of Nepal), white inscriptions NEPAL and 6 PAISA in Devanagari and in English. This envelope was issued April 20, 1959. Some envelopes exist with a watermark

Most of them are cancelled with a UPU commemorative postmark
