Vorstufe zum Britisch-Nepalischen Krieg 1814-1816
1806 schickte Bhimsen Thapa Truppen unter dem Kommando von Amar Singh Thapa nach Palpa (Lumbini-Distrikt) und konnte endlich diesen letzten unabhängigen Staat der „Chaubisi Rajya“ einnehmen. Amar Singh Thapa wurde Gouverneur von Palpa. 1809 baute König Girbanyudha Bir Bikram Shah die ersten offiziellen Postrouten in Anbetracht des bevorstehenden Kriegs gegen die „British East India Company“, der im Nevember 1814 schließlich begann.

In 1806 Prime Minister Bhimsen Thapa sent troops to Palpa (Lumbini District) under the command of Amar Singh Thapa, who conquerd this last independent state of the strategic important “Chaubisi Rajya” (24 principalities). Amar Singh Thapa became Governor of Palpa. In 1809 King Girbanyudha Bir Bikram Shah installed the first official postal routes in consideration of the upcoming war against the “British East India Company”). The war finally startet in November 1814.
