This cover is adressed to Premier Minister Chandra Shumsher Rana (1901-1929),

franked with a strip of three 2 Annas imperforate, violet-blue on Local paper (No 16b),
the right stamp is inverted. Tête-bêche pairs on cover are very rare.
Postage: 6 Annas (1 Anna for a letter up to 1 Tola, 5 Annas registration fee).
Strikes of the standard circular cancellation Dhankuta (C 10).
Arrival: datestamp Kathmandu XVIII (D 79), dated 63/12/24 BS = April 7, 1907 AD.

Reverse side: Negative hand-dated postmark Dhankuta (N 21), dated 63/12/20 BS = April 3, 1907 AD.
The new Sri Pashupati stamps were issued later the very same year.
